How much is your Gas & Electric per quarter?
Hi,
We have just had our latest Gas and Electric bills for the last quarter (mid July - mid September). The Gas came in at £30 and Electricity at £78. We are two people living in a 1 bedroom property.
We have never really looked at our supplier or usage, I'm sure we could save some money if we switched, looked at our usage etc, however we were wondering how this compares to others in a similar position? over / under / average?

Pointless comparing Gas in the summer, try again in the winter or after 12 months usage. Electricity is very dependant on what you use but is fairly consistent throughout the year.0

Yup, that's a fair point. If it helps, Gas mid Dec - mid March was £110 and mid March - mid June was £86.
Just trying to get an idea of whether this is comparable to others in a similar situation or whether we really should be looking to switch or look at our usage...0 -
Use any comp site with your annual kWh figures and the answer will appear in seconds. What others use is not relevant. What is relevant is what you pay for what you use, and what you might save by switching.
Quarterly summer bills give no indication of annual usage anyway, as heating is excluded-and this is the majority of the annual cost. Forget £££ monthly DD's use your annual kWh figures.
PS: your bills are already very low indeed. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
