Nightmare bullying from the jobcenter

It seems the vast majority of job seekers do their best to follow the guidelines but when the JC won't accommodate appointments to fit in with school hours , insist they bring sick children with them to appointments by refusing to reschedule ,and generally try to make things as difficult as possible so in some cases legitimate jobseekers end up getting sanctioned the system is broken. JC trying to excuse that broken-ness by claiming all sanctions are down to the lack of commitment of the job seekers is proved incorrect by the huge number of sanctions that are cancelled on appeal (but not before the legitimate job seeker has had money with held and gone through a stressful process). There's also a huge number of people with MH issues getting sanctioned and overturned on appeal when it is glaringly obvious they simply can't deal with the system. How in anyone's world is this a correct way to treat people ?
A shame is if you miss the bus - this isn't a shame ...it's a disgrace.
Whilst agreeing that there should be more flexibility for certain groups and more understanding, things like missing the bus will often result in some sort of sanction. It would if you arrived late at work because you had missed the bus. You start out in time and make sure you don't miss the bus. If your mental health is such that you can't organise yourself to get the bus, then you should be on sickness benefitrs, not Jobseekers' Allowance.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

But you wouldn't. If you missed the bus and was late for work, yes you might get a warning but you would not get your pay stopped for 4 weeks whilst at the same time expected to carrying on working as usual (you may get your wages docked for late attendance but that is not the same as stopping them completely).0 -
It is not the case of wanting to play the system.
These days you have to play by their rules, because if you make one mistake you are put forward for sanctions. Then when you dispute it you have to wait weeks for the decision. This is not fair as your money is stopped until the decision is made.
Even if you win your case it can be many weeks of worrying and asking friends and family for handouts.0
