Scottish Power prepay meter debt

Hi, I just got a letter from Scottish Power saying that we owe £93.85 on our prepay electric meter. I don't really understand how we can owe when we prepay for our electricity?? We can only afford to put between £5 and £10 in per week depending on which week of the month it is (near pay day etc) but the letter says that the meter will automatically take a payment of £12.50 per week (yes, week!) until November 2014. First of all I have no idea where this debt has come from as we prepay and secondly we can in no way afford £12.50 per week in electric nevermind for debt before getting any electricity through. Can anyone help me with this please? I am extremely worried!

been in emergency credit and standing charge not been taken, incorrect supplier card been usedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
