How are people able to buy on Dell via the small buisness section? Won't they check?
Also, I just had a nose on customise and buy in the home section for the cheapest laptop(I only want to surf net etc on it), that 1 yr collect and return, is now saying 90 days?
I don't think i'll bother right now. I'll see if anything comes up in the next few months.

90 days is BS. To coin a phrase "your statutory rights are unaffected"

If you buy through the Dell Small business site your T&C are different, you cannot cancel your order, by the way they do not check to see if you have a business, just put in any old name that comes to mind and they will be quite happy to sell you what ever you want to buy.

but as a basic model, the lowest price you can buy it for at the moment is £503, which is not a bargain.

for some reason, theyre not giving away shipping for free, like they have regularly over the last few months. £58 for shipping is rediculous.

If anyone sees this without shipping or for below £480ish, please can you post a link? I really, really want one.

Yay! I got one at 6am this morning.

    Inspirion 6000
    15.4 screen
    512 RAM
    1.3 Celeron M
    DVD RW [8 speed]
    40G HD
TV out [the thing I really needed most]
    wireless lan

for £431 inc vat and del

the free delivery was meant to end at 5am, but it was still on screen as free at 6am, so I still managed to bag that.

[edit] I just looked at the custom price for this on the dell Home section [not the outlet]. to buy the same system [but with a 1.5 instead of 1.3] would be £627!
