Paying back overdraft/ Reduce Overdraft amount between payments or not?

I currently have an overdraft limit of £1000 on a bank account with Natwest. I no longer use my natwest account as now live in Scotland so have an RBS one instead (I believe Natwest and RBS are all the same anyway).... Anywho I'm in the process of paying back my OD (it started at £1250 but I lowered it to £1000 to stop me spending the money). Balance now is £800 OD. My question is.... would it benefit my credit score to pay towards my OD £200 each month and lower my overdraft amount each month. Or would it look better If I pay my OD off each month but keep the facility there but just don't use it?? So eventually it'll show that I have an overdraft available of £1000 but I don't go into it??

Get it paid off. Get the account closed. Let the conduct of your other accounts tell the CRAs about you.

Should I just pay the OD back and close in one go? Will lowering OD limit between payment adversely effect my credit score? As when I called up to lower it last time, the bank advisor said that they still do a credit check even when lowering an OD limit??

Just pay the debt down.
