3 UK - Feel Missled

Hi,
I have been with 3 uk for just over a year now - and up till now have been very happy.
I was on a 1 month rolling contract at 12.90 per month with unlimited internet. When I took the contract out last year, the reason that i bought it was because the salesman was constantly saying how you could tether with it, and how he uses 70 gigabite download a month! Thought that would be perfect!
Have since then used tethering at about 5gb per month - no issue.
Now being a student i needed the tether as that is my main source of internet - where im living we have no wifi, no telephone line so no broadband.
I thought that now 4g is being released, i would upgrade my phone to a new one - but this time, instead of buying a phone with a separate contract, i would now buy the phone on a contract together with the minutes at £33 a month. Thought this would be fantastic - faster internet - faster phone etc etc.
So, i went in there and said i would like to change to this phone - i even explained about tethering.
I was lead to believe that the only changes to my contract would be that it was over 24 months, i got 500 minutes instead of 200 and my data would stay the same.
Even better - the system was down. They couldnt print out the terms and conditions. I simply signed a photocopy of the contract agreement without the t&cs on the back.
Anyway - back to the problem...i get home, stick the tething on...and its blocked! The only reason that i wanted a new phone was to tether!!! What a waste of money - got a new phone but cant tether using it!
Surely he should have told me!? The store arent having any of it - i went back the same day to question it..."we cant help you - we close in less then 2 minutes - call 333" I called 333 and they cant help eather!!
I don't want this contract if i cant tether - literally a waste of money as im gonna have to get another contract for internet!! I cant afford that
Really felt like he mislead me
Aparently there is no cooling off period.
Where do i stand? Please help!

You can *only* tether on the "One Plan" with Three - you can't tether on your old £12.90 a month rolling contract either, although Three let me get away with it for 6 months before blocking it.Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0

Talk to them when they open again, I think including tethering is only another couple of quid a month.0
