Today's plan:-

• Food from stores
• Dinner from meal plan - Chicken in a tomato sauce, pasta & veg
  
• Log calories & exercise on free apps
• Checked birthday bingo
• Check online banking & enquire why our 0% overdraft is ending next month, I am sure we had longer on it...
• Check for new mystery shopping opportunities
• Enter some comps
• Do some surveys
• Declutter & flylady
• DH has done some overtime today
• Heating off, fleecey dressing gowns on instead
• Today is day 6 of the 30 days challenge - free exercise using DVD
• Create a meal plan using up everything from stores. We have about £3 left of our budget until the 28th :eek: - Didn't get round to this last night either
• Go to second job tonight, getting a lift in so I can socialise afterwards

For me this weekend:

[STRIKE]List 2 items on ebay[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Top up stock in antiques unit[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Check banking and move money about[/STRIKE] Done, but need to check it is where I meant it to go :eek:

[STRIKE]Check paperwork for new Santander account[/STRIKE]Done, no internet banking details as yet

[STRIKE]Pay car tax and cc online[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Deal with invoices etc for business [/STRIKE] Done (well, mostly )

[STRIKE]Clean out chickens[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Weekly shopping, use vouchers[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Strip bed and wash bedding[/STRIKE] Done. Too dull and damp to put it on the line though - hope for brighter / windier weather tomorrow, otherwise onto the airer with it. On line,fingers crossed it will dry

[STRIKE]Top up the thingies in the water softener unit, and descale the shower head[/STRIKE] Done

[STRIKE]Set up printer that has been sitting in its box for ages [/STRIKE] Not Done, I keep putting this off

[STRIKE]Make a pie from leftover lamb from freezer and vegetables a la Jamie [/STRIKE] Done, eaten, yum

[STRIKE]Car boot tomorrow morning if fine[/STRIKE] Done, got a few bargains

Help DD to finish cleaning her old rental house ready to hand back the keys and get her deposit back! Off to do this shortly

Try another recipe from new Jamie book I think it will be baked spuds with cheese and beans after all that cleaning

Got some of the courgette mountain in the dehydrator to dry off for winter stores.

* Add extra vegetables to meat mixture for shepherd's pie to make one pack of mince stretch to an extra shepherd's pie for the freezer. This can then be defrosted and reheated for one of those days when there's not time to cook from scratch and it saves on fuel too!

Hi to all the regulars and lurkers and a BIG welcome to all the newbies, this is a really FAB thread with so many lovely, caring, considerate and supportive people.

Still feeling rubbish, not helped by the fact that we were quite late home from visiting stepson and grandkids, we brought the eldest one back with us (will take him back tomorrow), and at 3.30 both my son and grandson were still wide awake chatting and playing - arghh (am exhausted as had to keep getting up to ask them to quieten down as OH at work 4.30. A quick trip to park this morning and grandson has come back injured - speeding on scooter!! So today's little listy :

Now the house is a bit tidier I should really set this up, it will be important for my kids school work too.

So, this weekend is turning out to be pretty non-MSE. Have arranged to go out for lunch today. They do 2 mains and 2 deserts for £15. So £7.50 each... Going to take £10 out and only take that so I don't go mad on drinks!

Just realised that it's payday is this coming Friday, thought it was the week after so I might even have a few pennies left over :cool:

MSE ish things to do today:

• [STRIKE]Find receipts and update app for spends yesterday [/STRIKE]
• [STRIKE]Keep heating off - wonder hoe long this will last. Downstairs must have their heating on all day because it's not even cold anymore [/STRIKE]
• Make a list of things I need for flat, shopping was unsuccessful yesterday because I just wanted everything in The Range lol
• [STRIKE]Get someone to plumb in my washing machine. [/STRIKE]
  [*[STRIKE]]Do washing - 2 loads on 30... [/STRIKE]
• [STRIKE]Hang clothes up to dry and don't use tumble dryer.[/STRIKE]
• [STRIKE]Get £10 cash out [/STRIKE]
• [STRIKE]Still got a few clothes to unpack[/STRIKE]
• Set up computer and printer - computer is broken need a new power adaptor. Will look for a cheapo on ebay...
• MAYBE squeeze some studying in today (I'm now 3 weeks behind arghhhhh) - doubt I'll get any done now... Try for tomorrow...

I'd better get out of bed and get on with it!!

Not sure what the weather's up to at the moment - may pop out for a walk. Need a NSD today, though!
