Any suggestions, have been searching about for ins quotes but due to our house being classed as "large" i.e. we have 5 beds several sites won't allow me to apply or quote on line. This is esp annyoing as Lloyds is competitive when I get a phoen quote but it means I miss out on Quidco cashback. Any suggestions? Can't use tesco as i have a home office and they have got very stringent requirements fro locks on patio doors etc - have never seen such a list of exclsuions.
thanks in advance

5 bedrooms is going to be ok for many and work from home isnt a problem with many as long as you do not keep stock at home and do not have work related visitors. You may need a homeworker policy depending on what you do at home but you are going to find some that exclude you due to higher risks. The online sites like to cherry pick the easy stuff and they often eliminate certain risks to keep costs down and make them appear cheaper.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Try Hiscox (good for non-standard risks) and also good customer service. Also, if this is a large country house and your work is related to farms / rural activities try NFU.
Failing this, have a word with a broker. Their quote systems can handle non-standard (i.e. stuff that isn't cherry picked by the online firms) risks. You may not get the Quidco cashback but good customer service and a flexible approach to security matters outweigh this in my opinion.0
