Costco?

Options
Hi,

We're taking OH's grandma to costco next week - this is where she stocks up on a lot of her food. Is it really good value, and if so, can anyone recommend any products worth stocking up on?

Many thanks! :T

I recommend the fresh salmon, the frozen stealth fries and battered cod / haddock. If they have the big tubs of cous cous they are fab, as well as the veetee rice. The cakes are aways gorgeous too!!!! Let us know what you end up getting?

Often have toilet roll at good unit prices if you buy in bulk. If you are prepared to invest in the card, you need to buy at least enough to recoup the subscription cost.

Sorry if its a NSS answer.

  • I was a member of Costco a few years back and didn't save much, I think I may have saved enough for the yearly subscription. It's ok if you have room in your house to store things in bulk.

The big tub of own brand washing powder (its super concentrated). Its around £16 and lasts me 2 years. Fabric softener is good too. I love the meat as its such good quality for the price too.

We find the meat excellent quality. We no longer buy meat at the supermarket.

Their fresh curry is good too.

I'll second the rice. I think they do a 6 pack of rice for just over £4. Supermarkets are usually 1 pack for £1 or more. There's potential savings on named brand washing up powder and softener aswell. Powder is usually £10-12 for a large 100 wash box.
