Npower won't provide me my tariffs rates (Economy 10 issue)

Hi everyone,
So my bill is about to come in about two weeks time so I've been carefully reading my meter for the past two months in order to not be scammed by these people.
According to their website (and the sticker on the meter) I am on Economy 10. However, no matter how many times I look on the website the tariff rates won't show up so I tried calling them several times.
Aside their horrible customer service, the three times I have asked them about my tariff rates, I have received 3 different prices. It's so stupid that the last time I phoned I told them if they're going to make my bill using random rates. The guy seemed quite confused so he promised me they would be calling me that same evening to confirm the rates. This was a week ago. I'm still waiting for that call.
Has anyone been able to get Economy 10 rates from Npower? Even other company rates would be helpful (I don't think there's going to be an enormous difference). I live in London if rates depend on the area, btw.
Thanks in advance and if anyone has any kind of trick to deal with these people, it would be really appreaciated.
Cheers.

It's been a few years since I moved from Npower's not so super 'supertariff', but when I was it always the details of the tariff on the bills. You'll have very limited choice of tariffs if you stick to econmy 10.

I'm with Npower on their Economy 10 super tariff (but up north, not in London)

Had a letter saying they'd changed the charges by replacing the primary rate with a daily standing charge, from 1st May.

The new rates are - exc/inc VAT

    daily standing charge 20.5p/21.5p

    unit rate 18.60p/19.53p

    night rate 5.67p/5.95p

    heat rate 6.56p/6.89p

I have no tips on how to get information out of them, if you find anything that works, let me know! They don't seem to be able to cope with economy 10 any more.

Npower have told me there's a block on sending me bills, it's 6 months since I've had one...I'm told on the phone that they'll send one, but they don't. I was told on here that they don't have the software to be able to do it, and are having problems.

I wonder if your bill will arrive when you expect it to?
I think my next move will be the complaints department.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • Thanks for your response.
I will use your rates as reference as I don't think there will be a really big difference.
I will update this thread when I get my bill so that if anyone else comes to check they find these difficult to get rates.

Sorry to bump this thread up but today I got the rates for Economy 10 in my area (or hopefully they are in my area).
According to the man on the other side of the line, the rates are as follow (VAT included):

    Daily standing charge: 25.41p
Primary block (first 2 units per day): 16.28p
Day rate (from the third unit of the day): 14.72p
    Night rate: 7.51p
    Heating rate: 7.51p

Now, I cannot ensure that these are the correct rates for London NW area (if they divide London in areas as well or it's all one area) as I didn't receive my bill on Monday when it was due to be ready but after 1 hour of phone this is what I've been able to get (in fact I also got some other rates but they were totally insensible).

Hope this helps to some other Npower user.
    Cheers,
