After having secured my network:

I have found that I can only get onto the internet with AOL 9.6 browser and nothing else. I've tried clearing cache and cookies and still cannot get onto the internet with internet explorer or google chrome. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Cheers!

In IE go to Tools > Internet Options select the Connections tab.
Set to "never dial a connection".
Network and sharing Centre should be browser independent.0 -
Try this:
To reset the Windows Vista TCP/IP stack:
1. Click the Start button
2. Type: cmd in the Start Search text box.
3. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to run Command Prompt as Administrator. Allow elevation request
4. Type: netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt shell, and hit Enter
5. Restart the computer
You can also reset the TCP/IP protocol to its default state:
In elevated command prompt, type: netsh int ip reset and hit enter, then restart the computer.
