Address on applications

Hey,
I have never applied for a credit card before but am considering it to help pay for some big purchases such as car tax. Since I've just moved to university for my postgraduate degree which address should I put on my forms? I'm not due to go back home until christmas due to time constraints so would prefer to put my university address down but everything I have, mobile contract etc is registered to my home address?
Thanks
PPD

You'll only be successful at your home address, assuming you qulaify for one. Your income is presumably low if you're studying so may have to for one of the sub prime card, if not your own bank.
  • Yes as above, always use your home address which is more secure. When you graduate and move, provided you are settled, then get on the electoral role at your new address.
You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)
