hi
we need to replace our kitchen in few months. Current kitchen is quite old but functional.
kitchen is quite small, 3.5 m by 2.2m. design is units on two walls and walkway inbetween. (i hope i have described it usefuly!) not possible to do L-shape due to a door to conservatory / utility area!.
Quite keen to go with diy-kitchen.com route.
Any pointers about any design ideas / layouts / other advise?

download a kitchen design app, or failing that, the ikea one. It'll give you some idea of how you can use the space, then you can shop more efficiently when you know what you want.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

You could try Tesco free design service. When I was looking for a new kitchen I did, on the advice that the designer should be quite good. As it happened he wasn't and just drew up what I suggested but probably depends on the individual doing it, and in fairness they do it full time for a job so may have good advice.
Note the quote will be probably be expensive - I never really had any intention of using them. There was no hard sell though (which I was expecting) so happy days.0
