Kitchen expert questions - End panels and flooring

Hi there,
I'm going for Howden's Glendevon Flint or Cream and have the following design.
Kitchen Pic
If you could have a look at the pic and tell me do the circled end-panels actually go to the floor?
The reason I ask, is this would muck up the laying of flooring, which I guess goes in after the kitchen is fitted and under the plinths.
So to follow on, I guess end-panel A would be fitted after the flooring as this could be cut to sit on top of the Karndean?
Advice appreciated. Thanks.

In my kitchen I had the panel like that cut back, so that it didn't go down to the floor and there was a continuous run of plinth. The flooring is cut around my equivalent "panel A".0

That is a really poor detail for a designer kitchen, does it come with a box of plasters for your feet ?Be happy...;)0

Thanks... That's what I thought, but I didn't know how literally my fitter would take this design.0

In designers defence, a lot of these programs run on using "Standard parts" so that's probably a standard panel/carcase. It would be left up to the fitter to cut it back on site during installation.. It's why they can offer Free Designs. if you want detail, that takes time and time costs money !!0

As a fitter of numerous Howdens kitchens, the detail shown is included as this is how the software shows it. It's entirely up to you how you want it. Just tell the fitter you want continuos plinths. There are no hard and fast rules.
Additionally, in your picture, the length of the plinth (2.7m) is shorter than the run of plinth required (seems to be 3.1 metres). Therefore the plinth will have to be made up of 2 lengths and be joined. Some people prefer the tower end panels going right to the floor as you won't need to join 2 length of plinth.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
My panels were cut behind the plinths, but I have different coloured plinths to the cupboards. My friend's were left as they were and the plinths cut to fit inside.
If you want the panels cutting back, you'll need to make that clear to your fitter. Don't just assume that's how he'll do it.0
