Best Credit Card?

Im looking for the best balance transfer credit card, however i need one that will transfer £5k, im finding that they all seem to say credit limit of £1200, is this just a starting point and once ive applied they might give higher? Or does anyone know where i can get credit cards with a limit of £5k??

The £1,200 figure is a standard number for explaining the APR for comparison purposes.

You won't know what credit limit you'll get until you have an application accepted.

There is no such thing as a best credit card. Simply a best credit card for you.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Just need to check your income against debt also, as if this is stretched you might not get the new card from anywhere.
