Quick question I went into store back in 2003 and was told that to get a store card the payment protection charge had to be taken or no store card, can I reclaim money back even though I paid and closed account in 2009?

You can complain certainly, but you don't automatically get any money back unless your complaint is uphled.
Your complaint is also one of the weakest ones, becasue you can't prove it, you're now relying on there being another problem with the sale.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
I remember going into the store and going to buy an item and got offered a store card, sat down with someone in branch and got told that to get the card I had to have insurance otherwise no card was given it was something you had to take out! I also have the majority of statements showing the protection on them!Comp wins 2013:160 finish quantum tabs, 2xtickets private screening of prisoners(Jake n Hugh 2)

There will be no documentation that you were forced to have this. And the statements show you have it, not that it was compulsory.
Try and find another reason besides this. Argos will also not have been regulated then, so it's entirely possible they could dismiss your complaint.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
