Out of memory lines,Any help?

I am getting out of memory on line 4 on Martins forums for over 3 weeks now.When this happened before it righted itself within a few days.Can I sort this problem out myself anyway?

  • It would help if you say I am using IE/Firefox/Chrome and my PC is running Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Eight or my pager has only has 4 lines and I can't find the scroll button

    Have you rebooted recently? If not, usually helps. If you have, delete your browser cache and that'll usually solve it. Probably you have cached a corrupted JavaScript file, clearing cache will force it to re download, correctly.

    What I get is a small square box[only when I am on these forums].Which says MESSAGE FROM WEBPAGE [at top].Then states 'Out of memory at line:4'..I use xp

    Not seen that before in XP, 7 or 8.

    I wonder if changing the Forum Skin would make any difference ...

    Wow, they have ported Firefox onto text messaging devices from the 80s now?

    Seriously though, any chance of a screenshot of the error as I really can't figure out what is being described here.

    Doesn't it refer to some sort of script error on a web page?

    Think I've seen it somewhere before, but can't help any more than that.

    Yes, it does. Doubtless if it happens all the time it is a cached corrupted script, possibly combined with limited memory space if another running app has been badly written to leak memory. This is why I suggested the reboot and cache clear, but OP doesn't seem to want to do that?
