  • Three days is not a long time in these kinds of cases and particularly if they are considering claiming from their insurance.

As long as you have the evidence that they did the damage it'll be a question of when its sorted rather than if. Keep on top of them but that doesnt mean daily calls.
  • As above, I don't have much to add apart from 3 days isn't very long at all in these cases. When a previous employer of mine damaged some property it took several months to resolve.
  • update they now say it was damaged before they did it and i know it wasnt it is two against one so realy havent got a leg to stand on

If your landlord installed the original one is it possible that he accidentally damaged the floor and didn't tell you, You wouldn't have known until the old one was removed as the tear was under the machine.

Also were they contracted to removed the old one from it's plumbed in position and plumb the new one in or were they just contracted to deliver one to your door and collect the other one but chose to help you out and do the uninstall and reinstall for you?
  • If it was the wrong one, why did you have it fitted
