someone HELP i need to no my rights

Hello can anyone help me please.
my partner bought me an expensive ring £500 from a vintage second hand jeweleres and had to wait five days before i could collect as it had to be resized.
when i got it i noticed that one of the diamonds wasnt right they check and said it needing resetting and it was a 2 min job and to collect tomorrow.
when i came to pic it up they didnt have it or know it was meant to be hear they all the man in question and he said he had reset it but wasnt completely happy and was going to get someone else to check it for me it will be ready saturday. i told him i was away and can collect monday insted.
i turned up monday and no ring he said that the man was taking it to a specialist on tuesday and i can collect thursday. i told him i was concerned and that would it be possible for me to have a exchange. the man then told me there is no point as all the rings have a 12month garantee and i shouldnt be worried.
Afterwards i realised that i have no garantee as i have no paperwork saying so and im extremly worried. it has now been 13 days and i would like a refund as im so worried i will have it for a few day a month or a bit longer and the ring will break and i have no garantee.
i also no longer have faith in what the shop has told me due to them saying about a garantee i dont have and i feel like i have been messed about. the ring was paied for befor it was resized. im just so worried!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have anything in writing to say that you've paid? A receipt or something similar.
You say he told you that you could collect Thursday - did you?0 -

i still have the receipt but couldnt collect on thursday due to a stressfull day at college, so i called them and let them know.
Im going to see them this saturday.
any advice would really help me.

Why not wait and see what happens on Saturday when you collect the ring, you may be worrying over nothing.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
