Pluscom wireless PCI adapter driver.

Very soon I shall have my new router from sky. I am going to put it in my hall way so to free up wires etc behind my pc.

My pc isnt wireless enabled but I do have a Pluscom wireless adapter but do not know the serial number so I cannot search for a driver.

the wireless card with antenna is 2.4GHz 802.1b/g 54Mbps

I'm hoping this is a universal card and fits any pc, mine is a Zoostorm using windows 8 and AMD A4-3300 APU 64 bit operating system

Basically I would like a driver for the card so as soon as my router comes I can take the pc to bits and insert the card and use my pc as wireless rather than wired.

Any help please

It's quite old (given it has only b/g) but Windows usually has generic drivers that will help it work.

Not sure why you are waiting for the router before you put it in. Put it in now and make sure it actually works. If it is broking (physically) you'd have to buy a new one so no point waiting as it could mean you wait even longer.

Personally not a fan of USB ones.

The one you have now is fine. If you wanted to upgrade you should get one which supports n specification such as http://www.ebuyer.com/155641-tenda-wireless-n300-pci-adapter-w322p

But I wouldn't bother unless the one you have now is definately kaput.
