We no longer advise ignoring a fake PCN because some PPCs are suddenly getting litigious and because we know how to win at POPLA which costs the scammers money only to see their fake PCN cancelled). Ignoring it means they have six years to take it to court in fact, so why would you?
Complaining (and trying to get a POPLA code, even at this late stage) is the way to fight back, along with complaining to the Supermarket CEO, of course, like all these posters have done:

Every case there cancelled by the retailer or landowner when a motorist complained assertively.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Daisy for that helpful letter. I shall be using it if necessary but would like further advice re ignoring the letters altogether.
I too have received not one, but two of these letters from Control Account for two alleged incidents in Morrisons Car Parks. What I would like to know is am I not better off just ignoring these as I have done with ALL previous correspondence? After all, If they are not worth the paper they are written on why give them the time of day replying?
Advice appreciated
Please start your own thread, hijacking someone else's thread just causes confusion, which has already happened here.
