Just imagine, you walked out of their store with their goods for nothing? Do you think they would remain quiet?
then why should a multi million pound commercial organisation employ people for nothing!

Tesco does not give its goods away!THE club are looking for 15 supporters to appear in a Tescos TV ad which will be filmed during next Tuesday’s match against Dartford.
The TV company will hand pick 15 suitable fans who would like to appear in the ad.
The 15 supporters who are chosen by the TV company will receive a free ticket in the Pontoon stand for the game against the Bridgemen.
If you are interested in appearing in the TV ad you will need to be available to come down to Blundell Park before Friday to have your picture taken.

I may be being a bit dumb but I am genuinely confused as to what the problem is?!
The 'payment' is a free ticket to the next/another footy match. The 15 people doing the ad won't be doing it for free, they'll be doing it for a ticket to a footy match?!?!Weight Loss3lb Lost32lb To Go:xmassmile 8 Week Christmas Cracker SW Challenge :xmassmile3lb/12lb0 -
I read the post.
I read:The 15 supporters who are chosen by the TV company will receive a free ticket in the Pontoon stand for the game against the Bridgemen.
Do you know whether or not Tesco are paying the football club for their help?
Could it possibly be that Tesco are "giving away some of their products free" to the football club in exchange for help from them?
I for one would be interested to hear what your research uncovers, BoP.0 -
I don't think a free ticket for Grimsby Town can be regarded as an incentive....Je suis sabot...0

How can any sensible person refer to what Tesco are doing as theft?
They are looking for people who are willing to appear in a television advert, and they have made it quite clear what is being offerered to those that get chosen. (a ticket for a footie match).
There are probably thousands of people who would want to apply simply because they wish to appear on television even if it's only on an advert for a supermarket.
If no one applies then the marketing people will have to reconsider what they are offering potential applicants, but as it stands, all they have done is to offer something that any person is totally free to choose or ignore.0 -
