New parents here and don't would like nursery ryhmes to sing along with the twins. Ideally would like them on CD or MP3 so we can play them in the car and be able to sing along.
Happy to download them from the web via MP3 and make my own CD's.
Also any general good kiddies tunes or songs would be nice as well.

It is not MY fault that I never learned to accept responsibility!

ELC have CDs for £5.00. They have abut 30 songs on.
If there is a HomeBargains or HalfPriceOrLess store near you; I noticed my local one had a selection of children's Nursery Rhyme CDs for £1.00 each.0 -
I bought a fantastic box set of childrens favourites from ASDA for £5.98. It contains about 80 songs on 4 CDS, over 3hrs playing time. Great value for money.

I agree with the Early Learning Centre recommendation. (I don't know how to download stuff :-[)
Also please let us know when the nursery rhymes have driven you potty. One day you'll catch yourself animatedly singing baa baa black sheep in Asda....ON YOUR OWN!!!! ;D ;D ;DJust run, run and keep on running!0 -
I've always been really mean to my daughter and NEVER had her music/nursery rhymes on in the car - we've always listened to the radio, classic FM or Radio London so she is educated too. She can listen to nursery rhymes at home when she wants. She knows all about road accidents on the M25 and once told me she could drink wine as the doctor on the radio had said red wine was good for you! I don't think she has suffered at all. Mind you if you have twins, you will need your sanity and nursery rhymes may well give you that! Good luck - have you joined your local TAMBA - my friend with twins found it fantastic as support.0

Bit late to the party here, but I recommend www.twinkletrax.com.
We downloaded the album from them, and my kids love it. It's not as saccharine as most offerings, so we're quite happy to play it in the car0 -
