Santander business visa debit card

Have been using my Santander business visa debit card since the previous one expired and they sent us a new one for about the last 12 months .This one does not expire until 2016 there is money in the account but today twice it was declined when i phoned their business banking section they said they have no record of me ever having such a card . My question is how come i used it on Tuesday 17 September and other times previously with no problems haven't used it since until today 19 September they say there is no evidence of fraud on the bank account. All they will say is they will look into it and call me back and they dont know when this will be i just have to wait . This is so not good and very poor service.Dose any one have any clues i am puzzled :(
