Ebay Self assesment question - Is this all I need?

Hiya,

I've just been wondering really I've set up an S/A and given my books in for April12-april13 but did I need to do anything else?

I.e register somewhere its a business? Or is that done already when I filled in all the questions for self assesment?

Sorry such a basic question but wanted to be sure :-)

Also if I earn outside of ebay (say I did some leaflet delivering)..could I potentically just put it in the bank account linked with paypal..and put it through my books as income without having to add another type of business?

Or would I have to keep this seperate?

No need to register a business because you ARE the business

You would put it all through the same tax return no matter what bank account the funds are in.

Or would I have to keep this seperate?
