Good news on the sales and on the car being fixed for 'free' too :T - I hope that your cold has cleared up now :)

I have got 1 item to list - just got to check the postage size of it first  It is only a 99p thing - not the lots of pounds i was hoping for though :( Must try harder with looking for something else ;)

Will be good if the postage changes to shoebox size - not seen any info. on this though..

Rightio back to study for me

Hey everyone, sorry for the absence, I have indeed been away :)

We had a lovely time and little man was fab. He's so unfazed by everything, and even managed driving 700 miles in one day without a grizzle.

I stopped the ebay sales in the week or so leading up to us being away, but did do my relists on the last flw, which resulted in some nice sales again. :T

Need to get back into it though now.

Little man is now on the waiting list for nursery, need to contact them to find out how long the list is, and whether I'm likely to get my place or whether I need to find something else temporarily. I hope not.

Will try and get posting regularly again, and am back on my £30 listing a day (though probably mainly from next week when DH goes back to work).

    Hope everyone is well. :)

  • Yeah!! You're back :j

Glad you had a lovely time too :D

Well you did inspire me with your listings so it will be fab to see you posting again too - it sounds a good idea to enjoy this week with your family first before starting alot of selling again :)

Hope the little one has the place in nursery xx

Well, just done the sums for next month *sigh*. I'm roughly 700 short before I even start (not including food and petrol!). I've also got to try and raise enough to cover my MOT and car insurance the following month.

If I can do my £30 a day listings that will help significantly so I must do that. DH has dug out 10 boxes of stuff, so I've got plenty to work through.

Annoyingly I've had 3 lots of low stars for postage in the last 3 months . I've got to try and water those down so that I don't get restricted - I need my ebay account! It's so annoying because I only charge actual cost, I don't charge for packaging. So I've converted a load of my listings to free postage so they will automatically be 5 stars.

I did have a fiddle with some of my listings and changed a few to buy it nows, that has resulted in 3 sales of items that had been on several times :T I'm going to revise some more of my listings too and see if I can shift some more.

As the weather is looking dodgy, it doesn't look like we will be car booting this weekend, shame as I wanted to sell. We'll see though.

DH has pulled out 200 odd items for me to list for him too, so I've got plenty to keep me busy!

We went to Cardiff yesterday to have a wander, wasn't the best day to choose as the M5 was closed, but we went via the country lanes so didn't loose much time. I did wave to you Brizzle as we passed through :D

Today we are going to the seaside for a walk to blow the cobwebs away so won't be getting much done. It's our last day off together though, so all the work will wait until next week.

Have a good one everyone :)

  • Hi jwill, im sure you will find a way to fix the shortfall. Keep up the good work with the ebay listings :) I am trying my best to keep focused on paying things down. I am going to do some xmas shopping this month i did buy some things already for gifts just want it all sorted as i start my fertility treatment soon and id rather be organized :). Good luck with the ebay listings xx

Hey jwil - i'm hoping for a FLW as i need to list lots as well  My MOT is due next week - *positive* vibes on this please all really could do with it passing  There is no budget for it not to :(

That is annoying on postage feedback jwil

You have alot more to list than me although approx the same shortfall + more required dependant upon the car... I feel a challenge coming on ;)
