im running parallels on my mac as im using numbers for the farm account.

When using the ms office it keeps saying it cant find the printer. occasionally it does find it but 99% of the time it doesnt. It also doesn't pick up the word documents im trying to transfer over.

I also struggle to back up anything i do on windows via parallels

I know im not the best at computers but this has really got me beat

Not sure about parallels as I've never used it but as far as I know you would have the Windows operating system on your mac and MS office for windows too?

Are the versions of the MS products the same as the ones on your clients? would that matter in parallels?

Can parallels use the driver for the printer from the mac in windows or do you have a windows driver for the printer installed too?
