LPG are Stag systems any good?

Hi I am thinking of converting to LPG I have one garage quote for a prins system 3 days £1150 2 year parts and labour warranty and a different garage quote for a stag system 1 day £685 life time parts and labour warranty looks like a no brainer but is it.

Depends on the car and what they are actually fitting.

Multipoint injection with emulators or a simple system with a single feed to the inlet manifold and no injector emulation or switching them off.

  • Do lots of research, the first quote sounds about right, and whichever system goes on its the skill and care of the converter that will make or break.

Use a long established well recommended installer, who will still be there in two years time and will recalibrate it for you as and when.

You know what they say, if its too good to be true.
