i am currently on Blue +Price Promise April 2014.
ive seen the npower price protector 2017 and edf blue+ freeze tariffs.
are there any opinions out there as to if its worthwhile considering my tariff, i dont believe it would be right at the minute to go onto either of these at the minute but dont mind being told i am wrong.

I don't think you are wrong I'm in the same situation as you and my view is to stick with what I have as the monthly savings you make during the next six months on Blue +Price Promise April 2014 should outweigh any potential increase in the monthly cost of the long term fixes which will be available come March/April time taking into account likely price rises between now and then.
But then again it's all a gamble.......and the longer you wait the longer the available fixes at that time are likely to be.
It would however be nice to get rid of EDF in favour of a supplier who can at least do basic arithmetic!0
