The quality of the tomatoes is far superior in Aldi or Lidl when compared to Tesco value....they are the same price....31p. Where the juice in the value range is like coloured water in Aldi and Lidl it is thick.

The cheapest aldi/lidl stuff is usually better quality than the cheapest Tesco / other "big" supermarket
  • Agreed-passatta and tomatoes definitely are better quality for the same price at Aldi.

I always buy passatta and tomatoes in Lidl. As previously said, they're much better quality than Tesco Value ones.
  • aldi/lidl = Tesco normal range. Sometimes even finest range!
    But cheaper.
  • Aldi over Tesco!

I now regular see people shopping in Aldi and then half an hour later in Tesco buying only what they couldn't get in Aldi!

Aldi v Tesco budget/ no contest. Aldi EVERY time.

Almost the same here but with Sainsbury's! Had to specially go today after Aldi because Aldi had no spring cabbage!
