Royal Mail were giving them away free. I got one.
Dont buy one just yet, if you cant find the free one.
They could be channging in October - although its likely existing small parcels will stand - with a new bigger size added.0 -
Cut a hole in a bit of cardboard like I did.0

Royal mail will send you one for free. There's a link somewhere on their site.0

Royal Mail are no longer doing the free ones.
A lady in my local post Office came in with a bit of corrugated card and a marker pen and asked to draw round their template and they happily let her do that.
They are selling them on Ebay but they can go for £8 -£10.

I bought one just for letter & large letter sizes on Ebay for about £3 including p&p on a BIN. Worth every penny as post office kept overcharging me for large letters before & pricing as small parcels.
If it's bigger than large letter template, then I know it's going to be small or medium parcel rate depending on weight & depth etc.
Now I'm more on the ball with my template & digital scales I can challenge any post office member who tries to overcharge me.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I have one of the RM free templates exactly like the one someone is flogging on Ebay for £19.99 ()
To be honest it's quite flimsy, just cut your own out!0 -
It took me all of 2 minutes to draw the gap out on some cardboard and cut it out. I made mine a few mm smaller just so I could be sure it would fit through the gap at the PO.0

Got a free cardboard one via RM a month or so ago (think you have to be logged into the site to fill in the form to request one).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
