I'm hoping someone might be able to help me?
I'm going to have about 80 charts and tables that i could copy and paste special into an powerpoint presentation...
however everytime the charts and tables are updated in Excel they will need to copied over to the presentation again...
there is some way of inserting embedded charts and tables so they will automatically update everytime they are updated in Excel but i have no idea how to do this...
Would anyone here be able to help me?
Thanks.

Insert - Object - create from File - browse to Excel workbook and tick the Link box.

I think this answers your question:
* How-to have PowerPoint automatically update when a linked Excel file is updated *

Hi
A follow uo question - i have made sure the Automatic layout for inserted objects is unxhecked in Tools - Autocorrect, Autoformat as you type...but i told that might still not stop charts and tables resizing themselves when updated so it would be best to go to Edit - Links and set them all to manual....
Can anyone clarify this?
Thanks!!0
