Different Correspondence Address

Hi All,

Some of you may or may not have seen my other thread recently, basically I am in a huge financial mess as the result of a gambling problem.

I'm taking steps to sort it, one being a family member managing all of my finances for me and just giving me access to small amounts of money regularly so even if I was determined to go on a binge I simply can't! I have a HSBC account with a cash withdrawal only card, and I have just applied for a basic Lloyds TSB account that my relative will handle and thats where all my main money will go in and out of (they will make transfers to the HSBC account).

My question is, even if the account is in my name and address, can I set the correspondence to go to a different address (i.e. my relatives?). That would mean they can get regular statements to check what's going on and also get the card etc delivered there so they know I haven't got access to it.

To be fair they are mainly going to manage it online but for absolute security they would like everything going through their address and I would also prefer this so they know I am being completely transparent with them.

Does anybody know if this will be possible with Lloyds?

Thanks.

    Turn off paper statements?

And cut up the card as soon as you get it. Or give it to you relly.

Though you are not supposed to give anyone else access to your bank account or your card, so think this through properly. I trust you have been to a GA meeting by now - you should be able to discuss these matters with them.
