Santander 123 account - stop incessant emails

Any way of stopping the incessant emails arriving about my Santander 123 account?

I had a look online about stopping emails etc but didn't see anything. Perhaps I've just missed it.

You mean the "make the most of your account" type emails? If so, I just setup a filter to redirect them to my junk folder :)

I think you can also disable marketing in your online banking.

    Yes exactly those emails.

That was what I was looking for but I couldn't find it.

There should be a link/instruction at the bottom of each email that is sent, telling you how you can unsubscribe.

Already looked - no way of unsubscribing. It tells you that they will continue to use my email address for service messages and to inform me of important information.

You would want to see service messages and get informed of important information - that's about outages and changes in T&Cs. You'll get an email once in a blue moon if you opt out of the marketing stuff.

The emails I want to stop are usually headed "make the most of your account or cashback" type emails.

How? I've gone through everything in my online account. I can't see a way of opting out of marketing.

I think it's what you tell them at account setup time, and you can't change it yourself afterwards. If "unsubscribe" doesn't work: as rb10 says, call them and ask them to stop these emails.

You must have missed something when setting it up - I have this account and have never seen any such emails.
