Credit search?

Quick question hope someone could advise.

Does your 'credit' balance in your bank account show up when companies undertake a credit search?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it will only show if your in a negative balance. It will just show 0 if it has a positive balance.

your credit file will only show your credit.

so for a bank account, it'll only show if you are using an overdraft.

any available funds and savings, etc wont show up

My old Egg Money credit card used to show positive balances on my credit reports. Not sure if it's the same for all credit cards?

I've had a couple of different cards where positive balances have shown, Capital one definitely does this, and I think that nasty Shout card does as well.

Credit card's credit balance does. Bank account's doesn't.
