Missing Delivery Item

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but all help would be appreciated
I bought 3 Man City shirts on the 26th July through the Sports Direct website. All three developed a fault, so were returned, in the same packaging, on the 2nd September for exchange.
Yesterday I received two of the shirts back, so rang to enquire about the third, to be told it would need to be investigated as to where it was. I'd receive a call back by close of business.
I heard nothing, so called back today, only to be told I hadn't sent the third shirt, so it would need to be investigated to try and find it.
The receipt I have from Yodel says it is next day delivery, but on the 9th September I received an email from Sports Direct asking for the tracking number as they hasn't received the shirts.
The single shirt cost me £50, and I'm more than a little concerned that I'm going to end up out of pocket and with nothing to show for it.
As I said, all help with this is appreciated, and I apologise if its in the wrong place
