Switching to Halifax - can it be a joint account?

Just looking into switching to Halifax to get the £100 bonus and the reward each month.
Can you open it as a joint account? I can't find anywhere that mentions it?

Yes you can. I have one.0

Is it the same process as applying for a single account?
I'm assuming as we only have a joint account now we couldn't set up two seperate accounts to get double the rewards as we haven't got two accounts to close.
Can the whole process be done online?0 -
Go in to branch if you want a joint account.0

Good luck with opening a joint account with the Halifax.
The method seems to be that you open it as a single account and add the other person later. However it took me months to get the OH added the first time I tried as they said they never received any of the 3 forms I sent them. The next time I did it in branch and that went a bit more smoothly, but we only have a BOS and not an actual Halifax branch.0
