office 2011 for Mac...stuck ,hair pulling..screaming..

Bit of a noob on Mac desktop here...

I want to run office 2011 or get a free trial of it
Tried at microsoft website but then registered and then just keeps kicking me out or re-directing me to office 365...tablet /phone office software..?
trying to download there...nothing....

Do I need to download /buy parallels or vmware to use this as well

  • Hmm, I have office 2011 for mac and it works fine, didn't try getting a trial version first though...

    Having a look on MS's website, they mention a trial.. but send you to a page that requires you to pay.. so perhaps there isn't one?

    I'll have a look around and see if I can find a trial!

    OK try these trials on softpedia, i'm at work and NOT on my mac, so I can't try them first unfortunately!
