Hi,

I bought some wallpaper from a decorating store last week, they called me yesterday to tell me the wallpaper had arrived but they have been charged an £8 shipping fee from the supplier, but they are saying that I have to pay this. I asked why I wasn't told about the shipping fee at the point of order and they said they were only aware of it once the wallpaper arrived.

Can they make me pay this fee?

They cannot charge you this if that's not what you agreed initially. However, if you don't want to pay it, they can choose not to sell you the wallpaper and refund you anything that you've paid.

Thank you, that's what I was hoping, but didn't know if they could deduct the £8 from what I originally paid?
