Yes, if you log onto paypal, and click the details button on the item that you have purchased, there is a highlighted bit saying PAY NOW, click on that and it will pay just now.
Its a new thing paypal are doing, you pay after you receive the item, its to ensure you actually receive it and are happy with it. I think you can maybe remove this function but not sure how.0 -

Um, really?!? Do you have a link to this?Pay After Delivery
Peace of mind when you shop online
Select Pay After Delivery when you check out, and PayPal pays the seller immediately.
PayPal doesn't debit the money from your bank account until
14 days after your purchase (most items are received within this time frame). We'll send you a reminder email before we debit the money, so there are no surprises.
If the item doesn't arrive or it's significantly not as described, you have 45 days from the date you placed the order to report a problem

Ooh, interesting, thanks for the links. They kept that one pretty quiet!
Its not an escrow service like I thought though, the seller still gets paid immediately...When you use Pay After Delivery, we pay the seller right away, so there's no delay in sending you the item. We withdraw the payment from your bank account 14 days later.0 -
I must admit I wasn't too sure about this at first, but I'm suddenly finding myself buying more things after the 17th of each month!
Its a bit like an interest free payday loan.0
