Hi.
Have got a couple of quotes for some work on the garden.
there were of a couple of quotes i didn't like (one very high and another with no info on the quote at all).
but there was one chap who i liked and came across very well.
he has quoted me a flat rate of £100 per square meter for sandstone paving (approx 40 square meter garden).
this is including VAT and also to dig up/dispose all the old concrete (of which there is enough) and then prepare the ground and lay the paving.
What do people think of the costs being quoted ?

without seeing the garden we cant say.
without the spec of the sandstone paving we cant say
if the concrete is 18" deep and covers the whole 40Sqm, and access isnt great but he's speced top quality stone, its a cheap price.
if its 6" concrete over 10sqm with easy access, and its cheap paving, its very expensive!0 -
Cheers for the info.
Access is not brilliant.
its the rear garden and only accessible via the house.
there is sufficient space to get a wheel barrow down the hall way.
the concrete covers 1/2 - 2/3 of the garden and is only a few inchs deep.
when i get a written quote i will ask for specifics on the paving slabs.0
