I'm sure seated areas are for us oldsAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Depends on the kid. My son was a 'get in there' type and preferred standing whereas daughter is more of a 'stop pushing me' type and would prefer seating.
Sorry that's probably no help.Herman - MP for all!0 -
At least with seating and everybody stands you have your own little bit of territory and cant jet pushed around0

Standing and enjoying the concert at max!0

also depends on the venue & the age of the teenager! A 13 or 14 yr old is going to be best seated, whereas a 19 yr old may prefer standing ...
Personally I'd go for seated, you then have both options as most people in the seats stand up at some point!0 -
There may be price differences between seats and GA so consider that. Also there may be age restrictions in some areas in some venues, this will steer your choices too.
Personally, for a short gig of 1-2 artists then standing is OK, but an all day stadium special, seat for sure.
Depending on the venue you may well be able to walk from the seats to GA once the gig is up and running, best of both worlds.0 -
I went to loads of gigs as a teenage and if my parents had bought me seating tickets I would have been mortified! The atmosphere was just as important as the music and you miss out of that if you're seated.0

I wouldn't rely on this. Most places have strict checks in place to make sure those in seating don't get into standing, for health and safety reasons, they are only allowed a limited number of standing punters0 -
I don't think I ever went to a concert where I was 'seated' as a teenager.0

I would imagine most teenagers would prefer standing tickets. Do check the venue details though — some will only permit under 18s / 16s in the seats.
Can't imagine a crowd for Ellie Goulding is going to be particularly boisterous, so I wouldn't worry about the potential for mosh pit injuries or the like!0
