Halifax £100 existing customer switch offer. How many DD to qualify?

Thinking of taking advantage of the offer but did not see anything being mentioned in the T&C as to whether there is a minimum amount of DD needed to be switched to qualify for the offer. Any idea?

No-one knows. I moved two for the Reward Current Account anyway.
  • If i've got a basic current account with Halifax and go for a reward account would I qualify for the £100?

The £100 is for switching your account to Halifax, not for being a new customer or opening a new account, so yes, you'd qualify.

The account being switched must not be a Halifax account though (or a BoS account), just in case you were thinking you could switch from the 'basic' account to a Reward account?

Did you ever find this out? I have an empty HSBC account with no direct debits set up which I would like to use for switching.

Just set up two standing orders, and ensure they're paid once before you initiate the switch with Halifax.
