Transaction Fees (probably a no-brainer)

Hi guys, am still a bit new here and looking for some advice on transaction fees. Can a company charge you transaction fees twice if they have refunded you once for the tickets (because the event was cancelled) and then offered you the tickets again with transaction fee included?

It sounds unfair, but it depends what their terms and conditions say. If it's in the conditions then yes, they can do it.

Surely the refund would have included the transaction fee.

So you would have had the transaction fee charged, then refunded, then charged again, so really, only charged once.

If they charged you a transaction fee, then refunded minus the transaction fee, I'd probably make a complaint.

Yes they refunded me minus the transaction fee. I left it for a few days, and they contacted me asking if I still wanted to purchase tickets. I said yes, but only on the condition the transaction fee was waived. They agreed.

I guess in this instance, legal or not, it was just courtesy.
