iPhone Screen Repair, am I entitled to genuine parts?

Hi,
I've dropped and cracked my iPhone today. I can claim on my home insurance with £100 excess. I would prefer a replacement new phone or cash but it has to be sent away for an assessment.
But I'm sceptical, if they chose to repair, I would want a genuine Apple display fitted. As the main selling point of the iPhone5 is their retina display. I'm sure without going direct to Apple the display that would be fitted would be a 3rd Party (non apple) Display.
So what are my options? Does Like for Like including repair parts?

The company we use for electrical items subcontracts Apple repairs out to an Apple service centre and all parts are genuine. They also provide a guarantee. That said, for the iPhone, I'm not sure if genuine parts are available for the retina screen, so they would just look to replace it from their stock of phones.
In most cases, with a screen, we can repair it - or source a replacement iPhone of the same model. Lucky, because for some strange reason, we've seen a large increase in claims for iPhones in the last week... can't think why0 -
Thanks for the reply... Thats interesting to know.
Fingers Crossed
And yes, it was documented last year about the increase in insurance claims around the time of a new phone launch...
When I phoned up to claim, I bet she's thinking ' oh, here's another one!!!' But I've had owned every iPhone since launch and this is my first claim plus 5years no claims for home insurance. It was a genuine accident.... But I would say that, wouldn't I?0 -
a company in Aylesbury just repaired my iPhone 5 screen for £85, all works fine and it was done really quickly too…0
