Current Account Approval Criteria

I am someone with several existing current accounts taking advantage of the interest rate on offer ( BOS / Lloyds / Santander ) and wishing to apply for more. There must come a point when an application is going to be refused. Does anyone have any idea of what basic criteria is applied to an application when granting a new account to someone ?

The number of existing current accounts is definitely not the limiting factor when applying for yet another one. Without any flaws in your credit history you shouldn't have any problems.0

Thanks for that. Was just wondering.0

Getting refused a Current account is very rare these days.0

Agreed. The banks don't rare care unless their is something negative. Banks are happy to accept pretty much anyone other than that. This is one area where people with little credit history are usually ok as well.0
