Hello
I live in a low story block of flats (6 in all) and the letterboxes are on the outside at the front. I was wondering if there is such a device that I could put in the letter box but have a little wireless alarm in the flat to notify me of any post coming through.
I have seen this on another website but they only sell in bulk.
"VenGuard Mail / Post Box alert wireless transmitter. Once a postman opens the mail box covers, alert will send a signal wirelessly to a remote receiver. The receiver will provide a loud tone and flash light to alert you. The LED indicator will remain light up till you press the reset button."
Thanks

How about something like this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/WIRELESS-VISITOR-DOORBELL-ALERTALARM-MELODIES/dp/B003MWFIBE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379433796&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless+motion+sensor
The sensor is fairly small and battery powered so you could leave it in the bottom of your mailbox. Any movement of the mail being put in should then send a signal to the receiver.
I'm sure that there are plenty of similar items on ebay which may well be cheaper.0 -
Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Its certainly given me something to go on especially shaun from Africa's link.
