Balance Transfer Card - but not good credit rating

Hi all, this is my first post to the forum and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out.
I need to get a balance transfer card as my 0% runs out on my current card in November and goes up to 16%. I have been looking into BT cards, and have done the "soft" search using the tool on here, but has come back with only a 20% chance of acceptance and I'm not sure why. I earn a good wage, have a permanent job, and am on the electoral roll. We have recently move home so have only lived in our current place for less than a year, so I'm wondering if that can be a factor?
Any tips on what kind of card to go for, as I need to switch asap! I don't necessarily need a long 0% term, as I plan to have it paid off by March at the latest.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Try barclaycard as they do a soft search too. I was accepted with a less than perfect history :-)0

There is also a section on the main site allowing you to conduct a "soft search" for Balance Transfer credit cards:
https://creditcards.moneysavingexpert.comIt's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
