You can Google his name and get the information you require.
SamI'm a retired IFA who specialised for many years in Inheritance Tax, Wills and Trusts. I cannot offer advice now, but my comments here and on Legal Beagles as Sam101 are just meant to be helpful. Do ask questions from the Members who are here to help.0 -
I don't think this is a well recognised name! Best advise is as Sam said to do some searching around and make your own conclusions.0

I remember him on a tv programme about investing. Much was made of his supposed neutrality because he didn't own shares himself. You could equally conclude he wasn't prepared to put his money where his mouth is.
What's he up to now? However hard up you are, never accept loans from your friends. Just gifts0 -
Tom Winnifrith is a writer who seems to write about every subject under the sun. His name seems to be well known throughout forums but it seems that he upsets a lot of people who feel that he is not an impartial writer and that he is in fact paid to write certain articles. He has been sued for libel so…who knows? All I can say is get as much information as possible and trust your own instincts.0
