I'm not sure if I am just busy or worrying less about the debts these days as I appear to be letting my diary slide a little... naughty puzz must do better...


So what I have I been up to...


Well after the car passed its MOT one of my indicator bulbs went so another trip to the garage but only the cost of a pint to the mechanic who fitted it for me..


Money seems to be flying out left, right and centre..... Have paid £53 for train tickets.. :eek: to go to a uni open day with dd next week... and £29.99 to BG for my carbon monoxide thingy.. Also topped up Oysters for dd today and us next week so another £30....:eek:... Have got RAC to pay £105... but have that already saved in the car fund along with the £80 car tax also due this month.. its all going out and not a lot coming in.. I am lucky that OH is happy to contribute or I would be well stuffed...!!!


dd's phone contract was due for an upgrade and she is happy to keep her current phone which was given to me by a very good friend so have gone sim only and saved £11 a month. They messed up sorting it so have cancelled my contract so I can also upgrade now.. will have a think about it...I have a second hand bb that I bought from Eb*y at the moment, I don't need anything fancy...


Its also dd's birthday next month so have started buying for that.. so far only used Amaz*n vouchers I have earnt through shopandsc*n. I do have a birthday saving pot so that will be emptied.....


Still walking, only twice last week, but have done 3 this week and planning on tonight too... Weigh in tomorrow.. I have stayed the same for the last few weeks so am hoping to shift a 1lb this week.. fingers crossed..


Holiday now 7 weeks away.... dd will definately need some new clothes as she doesn't have any summer clothes that fit, small saving pot for that one....I just need some new flip flops and t shirts and will make do with what I already have..


My 'step cat' is on the mend, I go and visit him and we purr at each other...


So otherwise its just work, housework etc... No socials planned at the moment, good job too with everyone else wanting a slice of my money.....!!!

Weigh day and :j finally shifted another 1lb so that's half a stone gone... bye bye....... Not sure I have time to get rid of the other half a stone before my holiday but I will try.......


No walking or working tonight, so a chilled evening in front of the tv with dd....

Can't believe another week has almost flown past....


Last working day for me today as dd and I are off on a uni open day visit tomorrow..


Nothing very exciting to report.. Only managed 2 walks this week as monday dd had a meltdown so couldn't go and last night I had to work.... never mind, I'm still hopeful I will have knocked off another 1lb or at worst stayed the same...


Money news.. all ticking along, everything now paid for except car tax end of month (money in pot) and haircuts for dd and I, we haven't been since last August so well overdue... little money in the bank - payday 10 days away... no socials planned though and tomorrow is financially covered..


Have changed my bb supplier so will now be saving about £10 a month. Will start up some new pots when the savings start to appear!!


Talking of pots, of a different kind.. my runner beans grew way too fast and were too leggy so I gave up with them. In the opposite corner my tomatoes are taking an age to get going and im thinking of knocking them on the head for this year.. try again next year...!


Planned boot fair Sunday week.. yuk to early start but yeah to free money...!!


Best friend over saturday night for nachos and wine....:D


6 weeks today until the summer hols, dd and I are both looking forward to a relaxing time in the sun, all saved for and paid for in cash...:T


Best get on with some work now...

Received a £5 Love2shop voucher in the post from my RM surveys.. and had counted wrong so now have £45 of vouchers for Christmas and am owed another £5, and about to start a new survey as well.. Really need to get back into surveys as I've let them slip lately...




Housework and stuff today.. friend over tonight...
